Graystone Lodge was built to serve visitors traveling to Boone, North Carolina, for mountain recreation, university visits, and seasonal tourism. Located conveniently along NC-105, the lodge quickly became a trusted option for families, couples, and groups seeking comfort after long days hiking, sightseeing, or driving the Blue Ridge Parkway.
As tourism in the High Country grew, Graystone Lodge focused on building meaningful partnerships with local restaurants, wineries, wellness providers, and outdoor outfitters. That commitment helped position the hotel not simply as a place to sleep, but as a connection point to the best of Boone.
Today, Graystone Lodge continues to serve travelers looking for an upscale boutique hotel with a local touch, combining mountain charm with practical comfort.
This is our go to place whenever we’re in Boone. You can tell the staff and management take great care in providing a welcoming place for visitors to stay. The rooms are very clean and thoughtfully appointed. The little touches go a long way; a sound machine, 4 USB ports (that I could see, maybe more) hooks for purses, bags, coats, well-lit bathroom, upscale fixtures and more. There’s a lovely patio with plenty of seating and fire pit. While we didn’t eat at The Ham Shoppe food truck in the parking lot, the menu looked delicious! They have a great breakfast with everything you need to keep you full till lunch. Coffee from local roasters, Hatchet Coffee, was amazing! When you’re in Boone, I highly recommend staying at Graystone Lodge. Thank you for another perfect stay!
This is a great hotel to stay at in Boone, North Carolina and it comes with a great price. Service was great from the moment we walked in. They were very helpful with ideas for things to do in the area along with restaurant suggestions. The rooms are very nice and they come with a mini refrigerator and a microwave. The breakfast is great with so many options for everyone. They have a large heated pool. They also have an outdoor sitting area with a nice fire pit. Everything here was wonderful and the location was perfect for so many activities.
What a lovely surprise! Clean, quiet, friendly! Loved the decor & the multiple seating areas in the lobby. The breakfast was so much better than most hotels. Lots of hot options, lots of protein. And enough seating!!! It’s located right on the main road, so convenient to everything, but far enough out that you go without the hassle of trying to park in downtown. If you like Mexican food, there’s a small taqueria just down from the hotel that was absolutely delicious.
Loved my stay here! Recently renovated, spacious rooms with very comfortable bed, nice bathroom with premium toiletries, heated indoor pool, breakfast included (including local goods such as Stick Boy cinnamon rolls!), lovely staff, and a great fire pit area outside. They also have a gift shop in the lobby with snacks, local items and a free coffee station.
Super convenient for going into downtown Boone. We also liked the Beacon Butcher restaurant that is 2 minutes from the hotel. I’ve been recommending this hotel to everyone!
